To start the wedding weekend, Matt’s parents, Debbie and Skip Goldberg, will be hosting casual bites and drinks at Madison Social, an American restaurant and pub near Doak Campbell Stadium. There will be both an indoor and outdoor area.

Saturday Daytime
During the day, we recommend visiting the Goodwood Museum, Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, Mission San Luis, Florida Historic Capitol Museum, or Doak Campbell Stadium. Millennium Nail & Day Spa is a quick spot for nails, hair, or makeup; the website accommodates online reservations. Matt and Jane will be getting ready in Summerbrooke, then going to The Governor’s Club.
Saturday Evening Wedding Ceremony

The park is near the DoubleTree and Governor’s Club in a quiet, urban, walkable space with sidewalks in downtown Tallahassee. The park is long and narrow with very little grass, a long sidewalk, and large southern oak trees with spanish moss. We expect the park water fountain to be accessible for guests. The ceremony will be decorated in a classic style and color scheme. Please hide your cell phones during the ceremony.
women: formal. block-shaped heels are not required; there is not much grass
men: blazers, dress pants, dress shoes, neckties. pocket squares and watches recommended
Saturday Evening Wedding Reception
Following the Wedding Ceremony until 10:30pm Eastern Time, September 7, 2024
The Governor’s Club (2nd Floor), 202 S Adams St, Tallahassee, FL 32301
3 minute walk — flat, with sidewalks — from the Wedding Ceremony
This indoor venue is on the second floor, one flight of stairs from outside to the reception area. There will be a small outdoor terrace. The third floor will be used by the staff, as well as the bride and groom. Read more about the venue here. The reception will be decorated in a classic style and color scheme.
At the reception you will be served drinks, hors d'oeuvres (meat and vegetarian), dinner, and a small dessert. The dinner will include a mix of the chef’s choices such as gumbo, salad, beef, crab cake, mashed potato, and asparagus.
There will be an open mic throughout the reception. All guests are welcome and encouraged but not required to speak.
Sunday Brunch

Brunch in the Ballroom will include fruit, yogurts, french toast or pancakes, sausage and bacon, potatoes, breads with fruit preserves and butter, a made-to-order omelet station, brownies, cookies, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including the banquet captain’s famous sweet tea.
